We had an "extra" paycheck this month so I tried to stock up on meat and a few other staples to help us save on our grocery bill in the future. I'm not sure it will last long but it should get us through at least the next month. Why does beef have to be so expensive?!
I kind of went on a cream of soup strike when I started reading ingredients but I have quite a large stock of cream of chicken and cream of mushroom that I need to use up so I took that into consideration when I prepared my meal plan this week. I think I'll make a double batch of the chicken enchilada casserole and freeze it.
