Adult ADD

I have wondered for several years now if I might have ADD. I have ALWAYS had trouble focusing on one task and I’m not very good at multi-tasking. I also get very overwhelmed with clutter…which is why I am on a mission to get my house organized this year.

Out of curiosity, I took a couple of online assessments for adult ADHD and both came back with scores that said, “you are highly likely to be suffering from adult attention deficit disorder…” and “it would be advisable and likely beneficial for you to seek further diagnosis from a trained mental health professional immediately.”

Um……….

Then, I found an article on the trusty ol’ WebMD about the ‘10 Problems That Could Mean Adult ADHD’. I will share with you the “problems” that are applicable to me. Keep in mind, there are TEN.

  1. Difficulty getting organized – Um yes. It took having a friend come over to help me get started on my home office organization project. I seriously think it would have still been cluttered with paper if it weren’t for her coming over to help me organize.
  2. Extreme Distractibility – While writing this post, up until this point, I have stopped to read 2 emails, check my blog and watched about 20 minutes of TV. Distractible you say?
  3. Poor Listening Skills – This is more a problem for me when I’m listening to a lecture or sermon or in a meeting….basically, in a situation where I cannot interact. I am ashamed to admit that it does happen, albeit not that often, when I’m one on one or in a small group. When in this type of situation, I’m often thinking about the next thing I want to say rather than being in the current conversation.
  4. Restlessness, Difficulty Relaxing – I Never. Sit. Down. If I sit down I will fall asleep. And if I do sit down, I’m usually doing something with my hands or I’m on my laptop, phone or iPad.
  5. Difficulty Starting a Task – I am the queen of procrastination. I am always putting things off until the last minute.
  6. Chronic Lateness – Most mom’s are guilty of this to some degree. However, I often had this problem before kids….all the way back to high school. Heck, I did detention several times due to tardiness. And it was morning detention which meant it was before school so I was usually late to detention too! Sad, I know.
  7. Prioritizing Issues – Oh boy. This is me. Completely. That deadline I have to meet? Yeah, I know…but I’m going to browse Pinterest for a while instead. (SEE ALSO “problem” #5)

People! I have 7 out of 10 of these problems!!

Now I know I can’t let Dr. Google diagnose me. Do I think I have ADHD? Maybe. All these things explain a lot about me and I am tired. Tired of feeling so disorganized and like I’m a chicken running around with my head cut off. Will I seek professional help? That is to be determined. I might bring it up the next time I see my doc.

I am curious however, if anyone else has wondered if they have adult ADHD. They Psych grad in me wants to do a little experiment…If you want, take this quiz and let me know the results.

18 Months

Can we just take a minute to reflect on the fact that TnT are 18 months old?!

………..

HOLY COW! TnT ARE 18 MONTHS OLD! HOW DID THIS HAPPEN?!?!

They actually turned 18 months old two weeks ago while we were all sick as a dog. I seriously can’t believe it. I mean, I’m going to blink and they’ll be 2! Make it stop!

We’ve been having an issue with the girls fighting. Or rather Tens being too rough and Tillie playing the victim. Getting Tensley to understand “be gentle” is proving to be quite difficult. However, don’t think Tillie is always the innocent one…she is definitely the instigator at times.

Today was the first day in quite a while that I didn’t have to play referee. They didn’t fight all day. I’m hoping we are turning a new leaf on this whole fighting thing but I’m not holding my breath.

Tillie-18-months

Stats: 23 lbs, 32” tall

Personality/Quirks: A total ham but shy around strangers. Puts her hand over her mouth when she giggles. Likes to point her finger at her momma and say, ‘No!’ Goes around roaring at people. Is very good at fake crying and getting her way (it works on her daddy but not so much on her momma). Is a little fashionista…loves to look at clothes and hold them up to her.

Favorite Food(s): Crackers, chocolate milk, fruit, CFA chicken nuggets, French fries, and ketchup/dip. Girlfriend will eat anything if she can dip it. Well…almost anything.

Favorite Things: Blankie…must have one most of the time, Paci…won’t go to sleep without it but is ok without it during the day. Mickey Mouse Club House, Backyardigans, Up, Minnie Mouse

Words: Go, No, I stuck, ROAR, shoes, eyes, ears, wow, whoa, uh oh, get it, I see a ____, weeee! Knows the sounds of a monkey, frog, dog, cat, cow, horse, snake, duck. I’m sure there are more but these are the words she uses most.

Tensley-18-months

Stats: 27 lbs, 32.5” tall

Personality/Quirks: Has started being shy around strangers. Gives the best hugs. Will sit for quite a while focused on a certain task. Opens her mouth real wide and makes a scared face. Is also pretty good at making a surprised face. Loves to spin around and make herself dizzy.

Favorite Foods: Eats just about anything.

Favorite Things: Paci…will sometimes steal her sissy’s and put both in her mouth at the same time. She might need counseling when we take away the paci’s for good. Loves watching TV. Loves to look at books. Loves shoes and is constantly bringing me her shoes or their “princess’ shoes wanting me to put them on her. She does a pretty good job at walking in those little heels!

Words: Babbles a lot with expression and inflection. Just recently saying words we can understand like “up there” and “uh oh”.

It’s so funny to me how different they are. It’s also been really hard not to compare them to each other with developmental milestones. There always seems to be one that’s ahead in one area or another and just as I start to worry, the other one catches up.

Other than the fighting, they are so fun right now. Watching their little personalities develop is the best! I also love watching them learn new things. Seems like there’s something new every day!

A Slight Delay

As promised, here is an update on the baby front….

At my practice transfer they did some blood work. This is standard and they check it every time I go in.

During the ultrasound, my RE saw a small follicle and when the blood work came back, my estrogen was elevated. This all means that the injections I’m taking to suppress my system hadn’t done it’s job yet. I was not fully suppressed.

I didn’t even know this was a possibility.

I was told to continue the current dose of injections and come back in a week to re-check. I was also told that this would delay transfer by at least a week. :(

We continued as directed and I went back for my re-check last Friday. Friday afternoon they called with the lab results and we were good! I was finally suppressed. However, it set us back two weeks.

I’m a little disappointed, but I’m looking at it as God telling us that our timing is off and His is perfect.

Also, this gives me a little more time to get this house in tip top shape! ;)

I won’t have another update for a couple more weeks but I’ll definitely update when I have something new to update.

The Great Closet Crash & Meal Plan

We’ve had a pretty good weekend. I managed to work on an organization project. I’m almost done with it and will share when it’s complete. Hubby worked on a couple of projects as well…one was um…..unplanned.

I was cleaning the kitchen on Saturday and all of the sudden the girls and I heard a loud crash that sounded like it came from the front of the house. James and his dad had been working on the front porch so I didn’t think much of it. I knew he was out in the garage so I went out to let him know what I heard just in case he needed to check on something he was working on and then I forgot all about it.

Later Saturday evening James yelled at me from down the hall. Because of his tone, my first thought was, “great, what did I do now”. I yelled back and he told me to “come here”. I was a little hesitant but I headed down the hall to our bedroom.

When I got to our room, he told me he found the source of the loud crash I had heard earlier….his entire side of the closet was in the floor. The bracing and brackets had come out of the wall and everything went crashing down including the shelf above and the short bar along the back of the closet.

photo (21)

Despite my type A tendencies to have everything in order before I go to bed, the closet stayed like this until today. We were both too tired to even think about dealing with it. Thankfully, I have a pretty handy hubby that had it fixed in about an hour.

So that was our exciting moment of the weekend. Shall we move on to an even more exciting meal plan? Ha!

Jan 20-Feb 2 Meal Plan

There are a few meals that I carried over from last week. We had leftovers a couple of nights so there were meals that I didn’t make. I wish I could plan leftover nights but most of the time, we don’t have leftovers…it just depends on if the girls decide to eat that night or not.

*Since I’m doing meal plans every other week, I’ve decided to start posting recipes on the weeks I don’t have a meal plan.

**You can get the printable Bi-Weekly meal plan in 4 different colors HERE.

***I’m due for an Operation Baby Update. I’ll post sometime tomorrow.

Wednesday Randoms

What a week I’ve had already!

I’ve been really tired lately…which is why I haven’t been posting much this week. I found out today my thyroid is way off so they’ve adjusted my meds and hopefully, I’ll be feeling normal again soon.

I started walking with a friend this week. We go in the mornings and walk at the mall since it’s too cold to walk outside. I’m thinking it’s kind of dangerous because I ended up bringing shopping bags home. (Children’s Place was having a sale on pj’s! How could I resist??) However, I’m getting quite a few Shop Kick points every time I go so maybe the shopping while walking will end up paying for itself? At least that’s my rationalization. :)

I have yet another app to share with you on Saturday. You’re going to love this one! I was able to get the girls 5 pairs of socks for FREE with this app!

The girls had their 18 month well check today. Boy was that a doozy! Tillie was pretty laid back until the shots then she was NOT a happy girl. Tensley, however,  FREAKED out as soon as we walked into the exam room and literally started trying to climb the wall to get away. She had a good reason though…they ended up getting 3 shots instead of the normal 2 but now they don’t have to have anymore until age 4! She’s not really a blankie kind of girl but it certainly helped today. :(
photo (21)

We’ve had a slight hiccup in our FET cycle. Nothing big. I have an appointment on Friday so I’ll post a detailed update then.

That’s all I’ve got for this week! Hope you all have a good rest of the week!

*Just a reminder that I’m still accepting sponsors. I have very affordable rates and would love to promote your product(s).

Organizational Goals

Since I made organization one of my goals for this year, I decided to sit down and write out a schedule with deadlines. I’ve given myself a month to complete each room. I think that’s pretty doable plus I might only have about 9 months to get it all done. ;)

Organization Goals 2013

I’m a little embarrassed publishing these pictures. Just know that my laundry room is not always that messy. :)

Here’s my schedule:

January – Office/Mudroom

I have piles of paper all over our office. On the filing cabinet, on the desk and mini piles on our bookshelf. I hate filing.

Speaking of files…the files in the filing cabinet need to be cleaned out as well. I think this is the reason why the office is so bad. I try to go through the existing files to make room for the new paper and I just get overwhelmed and then quit. Hence, the piles of paper.

February – Dining Room

We have a buffet and a built in china cabinet in our dining room. I’ve already started working on these to make room for some things that needed to be moved from somewhere else. There’s not much to do but it’s going to take some thought to make the best use of the space.

March – Man cave

This room is going to be a doozy. If we have another child(ren), my craft room will have to be combined with the man cave. James is definitely not a fan of this idea but we only have 3 bedrooms and one of them is currently my craft room so there is no other option.

April – craft room

Oh boy. March and April are going to kick my booty. Since the girls were born, my craft room has become the catch all room. You guys, the girls are 18 MONTHS OLD! Do you have any idea how much stuff is now piled in my craft room?? It ain’t pretty. Honestly, I’m a little scared to tackle this room. And to make matters worse, it has a walk in closet that is FULL!

Did I mention this room will be the new nursery? So sometime in these 7 months I’ll also need to get this room furnished and decorated.

May – play area

Remember when I said we only had 3 bedrooms? Yeah, that means we don’t have a play room and guess where the play room is located. Yup! In the living room…or rather an area off the living room…with no walls or doors to separate it from the living room.

We have grand ideas for this space that involves a road trip to IKEA sometime in April. I am so looking forward to having this space organized to where I can hide all the toys when they’re not played with.

June – Kitchen

I’m already having issues with our kitchen. I’d love to have all new kitchen cabinets but it’s going to be quite a while before that happens so I need to make the best use of the space. I’m thinking first I’ll purge then I’ll add some pull outs & such. I’m still looking for a solution for the cabinets that go back into the corners. Surely they make pull outs for these type of cabinets.

July – Laundry Room

Again, the cabinets are my main issue in here. We have two very tall cabinets above the washer & dryer and one under our sink. The shelving in these cabinets are horrible. There are 3 short shelves in one and only one shelf in the other.

I will also be moving a cabinet from my craft room into the laundry room to add some storage…specifically some more pantry space for things like cleaning and paper products.

So that’s my plan. Hopefully I can get it all done. I’d LOVE to be able to get it all done before adding more kiddos to the house.

I’ll be posting my progress in the following months and I'll share all the tricks I’ve learned along the way!

Wednesday Randoms

Whew! This week has been a tough one with all the sickies in our house! We’re still in a little bit of recovery mode but I think we are all definitely on the mend. Thank you everyone for the prayers and well wishes.

Just so you know, your child’s poo & vomit can indeed make you want to throw up.

I started watching episodes of Nashville on my iPad and I’m quickly becoming a fan. I wish I could find all episodes to watch but I think I get the gist from the episodes I was able to watch.

I’ve been taking my pre-natal vitamins in gummy form. Oh. My. Goodness why haven’t I tried these before?? Also, can all the pharmaceutical companies please make all medicine in gummy form? Hmmm…once I typed that out, it sounded like a bad idea.

Tomorrow is the practice transfer. I’m glad I’m well enough to go. It was hard to schedule in the first place so I didn’t want to put it off any longer. I’m not looking forward to it but I’m ready to get it over with.

I lost about 8lbs while I was sick. I’m really would like to keep it off…even though I might be pregnant in the next month. But it would still be nice to start at this current weight.

Speaking of weight loss. I was suppose to start walking with a friend this week but getting sick kind of put a kink in our plans. I hope to get started next week. I REALLY need to do this.

I’ve actually started doing a few little organization projects. They’ve been small so far like mainly a couple of drawers and a cabinet in our kitchen. I’ll share the results of those in another post.

Hope you’ve all had a great week so far!

Best Laid Plans

Sometimes the best laid plans just don’t work out.

I had this week all planned out. I was excited about actually getting back to being organized. I had my meal plan all done, my blog posts planned out and having my errands and outings scheduled.

And then, I got sick…very sick with a nasty stomach bug. I woke up around 2am yesterday morning when it hit. James stayed home to take care of the girls and I spent the day trying to recover.

I was still feeling a little iffy last night but thought if I had a good night’s sleep, I would be ok and James could go back to work. We planned to just see how I was this morning.

Then at 2am this morning, Tillie woke up sick. The same nasty bug had hit once again. I think we finally fell asleep around 6:30 this morning.

Thankfully, Tensley slept through all the sickie drama with Tillie. However, she was awake and ready to go at 8:30 this morning. James got up with her and Tillie and I went back to sleep. We woke up around 11am.

Today Tillie and I have been in recovery mode. James, the rock star hubby and daddy, has been cleaning, disinfecting and doing laundry as none of us had any clean clothes or linens.

We’re still in recovery mode. I’m hoping we all get a good night’s sleep and no one wakes up sick tonight.

The girls turned 18 months yesterday and I had a Tuesday Toddler post planned for today. It will have to happen another day.

Sometimes the best laid plans just don’t work out. I still get a little stressed about it but now that I’m a mom, I’m learning to let it go because you just can’t control some things….like nasty stomach bugs.

What. A. Day & Bi-Monthly Meal Planning

Wow. It’s been quite a day. I woke up determined to get stuff done that I didn’t get done yesterday due to a sick Tillie. I should know better than to actually plan to do anything.

When I got out of bed, I was informed by James that he was sick. Tillie has been acting fine but had many diaper blowouts which let to several baths today.

Annnnndddd….that led to laundry because the girls ran out of pants and wash cloths.

So today I organized the buffet in our dining room, made a batch of laundry soap, cooked 3 meals, cleaned the kitchen twice, gave 4 baths, and did 3 loads of laundry. Oh, and I gathered up and took all the trash out and cleaned/sanitized the girls’ bathtub.

Thank goodness I already had my meal plan done.

Since payday is every 2 weeks, I meal plan and grocery shop every two weeks. I’ve been using other printable meal planners but they were for weekly meal plans so I’ve come up with a bi-monthly meal plan printable that I am going to share with you!

First, here is our meal plan for the next two weeks.

Jan 6-19 Meal Plan

I only had to buy a few things for these two weeks. To show you I’m not an extreme couponer, I spent about $90 on groceries and will probably end up spending about $30 more on things like produce and milk before next payday. My goal for 2013 is to get to where I only spend no more than $100 every 2 weeks. I’m ready for some good sales!

And now for the freebies! I have the above meal plan in 4 different colors. You can use a different color for each week or even maybe one color for breakfast, one for lunch & one for dinner!

Bi-Monthly Meal Plan Printable

  • Bi-Monthly Meal Planner Orange
  • Bi-Monthly Meal Planner Aqua
  • Bi-Monthly Meal Planner Pink
  • Bi-Monthly Meal Planner Green

Savings Saturday: Shop Kick

Ok Not So Extreme Couponers, have you heard of the app Shop Kick?
Shop Kick App

I downloaded it about a year ago but didn’t do much with it and honestly, just forgot about it. Then my sister started talking about it and got me hooked!

If you haven’t already, go download it now! You get points just for walking into participating stores. Once you get enough points, you can redeem them for many different things like Target and Starbucks gift cards. I mean, who doesn’t love Target and Starbucks? And if you’re really in to saving money, why not get free money!

After you’ve downloaded the app (you’ll need to create an account), fire it up right before you walk into one of the many participating stores and get Kicks (points) just for walking in!

They also have Look Books that you can browse through and get Kicks just sitting on your couch! How cool is that?!

Also, when you fire up the app and walk into a store, there will be a chance to earn extra kicks by scanning certain items. I have earned over 500 points in just one stop at Target!

Operation Baby Update

Just a quick update…

I take my last birth control pill tomorrow. I can’t even tell you how excited I am about that! It seems like I’m having all the symptoms most people have that make them take it in the first place! I’ve been breaking out and a little moody (shhh…don’t tell hubs about the moody part).

I started the Lupron injections on Sunday. I take these for 4.5 weeks. If you don’t know what the Lupron is for, it’s to suppress ovulation. The injections are not too bad. The needles are pretty small and I use a handy dandy ice pack to “numb” the area beforehand. I’m sure I’ll feel like a pin cushion by the end though..

Next week is the practice transfer. I’m really looking forward to it. NOT! I went through 14 hours of labor with the girls & didn’t feel a thing (thank you epidural) but I’m pretty sure the pain I felt during the last practice transfer was pretty close to what labor pains feel like. Wish they could give me an epidural for this procedure.

That’s about all I have. The FET cycles are so much simpler than the full IVF cycles so there’s really not much to report.

Hope you all have a great weekend!

Be sure to come back tomorrow where I will be posting about a great app to go along with your Not So Extreme Couponing!

Magna Doodle

Once the girls reached toddlerhood, I frantically started looking for things to keep them busy. Every once in a while I run into a product that is a big hit with one or both of the girls.

Activities-for-Toddlers---M

Back in November we took a little road trip to visit family. It’s a 3 hour trip so I figured I would put together a little road trip activity bag. My mom has a large Magna Doodle that the girls LOVE so I thought it would be a good idea to get one (or two) to take on our trip. While searching the aisles at Target, I came across this travel sized Doodle Pro. It was just what I was looking for and it was very inexpensive! I gathered up a few other things and my travel bag was ready to go!

Activities-for-Toddlers-Tra

You guys! The Magna Doodle was a huge success! Mainly with Miss Tensley but they both loved them and drew on them for half of the trip!

Seriously. This girl was obsessed. OBSESSED!

Activities-for-Toddlers-Doo

Yes, that is her sleeping with the Magna Doodle. We planned on sneaking in after she was asleep to retrieve the Magna Doodle but girlfriend was not letting it go. Not. Even. In. Her. Sleep.

Since these little pieces of magic were so popular I decided to put them up and only bring them out when I need some quiet time.

What is your child’s favorite travel activity?

Wednesday Randoms

For the last few days I’ve been thinking about things for today’s post. Now that I sit down to type it out, it’s all gone. So, how about a TnT post?

12-16-12_1663 12-16-12_1666

The girls went to bed at 7:45 last night and were out immediately. I just knew I was either going to have an early morning or have one or both of them wake up sick but that wasn’t the case. I guess the holidays finally caught up to them.

We’ve re-established the barrier (aka baby gate) between our living room and the kitchen & dining room. We decided having the girls roam free was just too much for me to handle and was keeping me from being able to get simple tasks done like loading the dishwasher or moving the laundry over. I think it will be good for their safety…and my sanity. They had their chance to explore and once they had seen it all, it just became trouble. Also, they quit playing with their toys. Today, they have been rediscovering their new toys and it’s been nice. They don’t seem to be as fussy today either however, that could be from all the sleep they got.

Instead of cartoons this morning, I turned on our favorite Christian station on Pandora and we had a dance party. It seems Tillie has some new moves. I’m not sure where she got them but the girl’s got rhythm! Tensley is just starting to dance a little. I’m not sure dancing is her thing…she doesn’t get as excited about hearing music as Tillie.

There’s all kinds of talking going on in our house. Tillie said her first sentence over the holidays. She said, “I see…a dog!” Tensley is jabbering a lot. We haven’t quite figured out if she is still babbling or if she’s actually saying things and we just can’t understand her. When she “talks” she does the expressions and hand motions like she’s actually saying something but we have no idea what it is. Haha!

They got some Mega Bloks and some foam blocks for Christmas. Tensley seems to be a fan of building/stacking them. Tillie likes to knock them down.

Tillie has started taking material, whether it be a rag, a piece of clothing or sometimes even paper and holding it up and trying to drape it over things. I think she might be our little designer/decorator and Tensley might be our little architect.

Both girls seem to like clothes. I think they were the first kids I’ve ever seen that actually were excited about getting clothes for Christmas. They like to hold them up to themselves and sometimes try to put them on. I need to look into some dress up clothes that are easy for them to put on since they are a little young for mastering dressing themselves. Anyone know of anything that might work?

We’re still working on the eating, feeding themselves and not throwing their food on the floor issue. We’ve moved their high chairs to the dining room table so we can all eat together. It worked pretty well for a couple of meals then they were back to throwing their food on the floor. I think this part of toddlerhood is the most frustrating thing for me. I’m ready to be past it.

Focus

My one little word for 2013 is FOCUS. It encompasses many things for my life.

My mind is constantly going…I am constantly going.  I like many women try to multi-task. It works, but I sometimes miss out on things. I’m always thinking about what I need to do next. I have trouble slowing down…slowing my mind down. I long to have chunks of time to focus on specific things…spending time with God, my children and my husband, working on my house, my blog and my Etsy shop.

Focusing on my time with God is at the top of my list for this year. I tend to go in spurts with reading my bible and spending time in prayer. I’d really like to make it a constant thing. I know in my heart that if I do this, all of the things I list below will fall into place. (Note to self: make a daily reminder for this.)

I want to focus on the girls this year…especially since we may be adding more babies. I want to spend time working with them in some developmental areas and even just play. Scheduling some one on one time with each of them is also one of my goals this year.

James and I will be married 16 years this coming May. Despite the fact that we’ve just started adding children, our relationship has become…well…let’s just say we’ve reached old married couple status. I’m not exactly sure how to go about it with kids…and being pregnant with more kid(s) but I need want to focus on our relationship this year.

God willing, if we have more kids (do you see a theme here?), I MUST get this house in order. We need to do a lot of purging and organizing and consolidating. The room that will be the next nursery was my craft room and is now a catch-all room. It’s a nightmare. There’s literally a narrow path around the room. Somehow, I am going to have to figure out how to move my craft supplies up to the man cave/theatre room without making it look like I’ve taken the room over. The kitchen needs some organization along with the cabinets in both bathrooms, the coat closet, the cabinets in the laundry room and our home office. Ugh, the home office. I HATE that room. So much paper that I have no idea what to do with. It’s just so overwhelming. Can I just turn it into a mudroom like it should be and just throw all the paper away? No? Fine.

Now let’s talk about this blog and my Etsy shop. These two are the places I go to when I need some down time. They are my creative outlets and help me stay sane…unless I have a deadline that is approaching at warp speed and I am unable to find any “down” time to work on either. I’m seriously at a crossroads here. I will probably always blog but I have been contemplating shutting down my Etsy shop for quite a while now. I love designing though. I love that it’s a creative outlet that allows me to be in the same room as my family. However, on my break over Christmas, I’ve come to realize that I really don’t enjoy the late, late nights trying to meet deadlines. My goal of FOCUS on this can go either way at this point. I just need to figure out which path to take.

Sorry for the rambling on that last point. It’s just been laying heavy on my heart for months now and not having a solution that I am at peace with is agonizing.

So can you guess what my blog posts will be about this year? ;)

I sincerely hope to learn something from this and maybe, just maybe, if I share my journey, I can help some other frazzled moms out there.

A TnT Christmas

I’m baaack! I think. It’s been good taking a break from blogging and my Etsy shop. It gave me a chance to rest, spend more time with my family and re-group. I’ll post more on this later but for now, I want to sum up Christmas with the toddlers…in pictures, of course!

We had James’s family over on Christmas Eve. Nothing fancy. We had pizza for lunch and taco soup for dinner. Here are the girls in their Christmas Eve outfit.

Tens Christmas Eve Tillie Christmas Eve

Do you like Tensley’s pose? She’s cool like that. Haha!

They did good opening their presents. We had to get them started but they figured out what to do. Tille was all about opening and Tens would get distracted by the gift and forget her other presents. :)

Christmas-Eve-Day

Christmas Eve night we took the gate down from around the tree and let them explore. These are some of my favorite pictures.

Ready-for-Santa

Christmas day we went to my mom & dad’s in our jammies for breakfast. We were supposed to have a blizzard (it was far from a blizzard) so it was very cold. Much to my mom’s dismay, we stayed in our jammies all day. Sorry mom!

Unfortunately, I didn’t get many pictures that day but I did manage to get this one of the girls and their cousins.

Cousins

I hope you all had a Merry Christmas!

And since I’m typing this at midnight on New Year’s Eve…..

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
